Cartably is a notebook where every page is a place. Leave a note where it matters and it waits there for you — even with the app closed.

The map is drawn as an explorer's chart, and a procedural cloud hides everywhere you haven't been yet, clearing as you go.

What it does

Inside Cartably

Notes pinned to places

Rich text, checklists you can tick off, photographs, and the freedom to reposition a note later.

Markers with character

Five banner shapes — pointed, shield, rounded, squared, notched — in six colours, so the chart reads at a glance.

Proximity alerts

Set an alert radius from 50 metres to 2 kilometres. The alert holds until you dismiss it or leave the area.

Works with the app closed

Low-power geofencing rather than continuous tracking, with a standard chime or a trumpet fanfare.

Exploration mode

Cloud anchored to the ground clears in a wide circle around everywhere you've been.

Offline by default

Everything is stored on the device, so it records and alerts the same in tunnels, dead zones and aeroplane mode.
